Walls! We added exterior walls and siding to the shed this past week in between the pyro days. First you add exterior OSB boards. This part seemed to take forever because pallets aren't exact - meaning they are neither flush nor square - but once we did the first section it moved a lot faster. This part also requires the most cutting so you have to measure, cut, attach - then rinse, lather repeat, so to speak - for every board that you do. Not to mention the side walls have a pitch so you have to cut boards at a slant. I let FM do all the sawing, it's her circular saw after all. I'm too afraid to lose a finger or something. The chainsaw is scary enough.
Anyway, once the boards are attached you add the end caps. The siding panels slip into the corner end caps. This part went considerably faster.
Then you add the siding panels. This part goes really fast. The tarp and plastic were put on to protect the unfinished boards from rain because we don't want to seal water into the walls. It's hard to get the full picture but tomorrow we will finish the sides and the visual will be more clear.
Have I mentioned how I'm totally over the ladder?
