I lived in a desert climate for most of my adult life. I don't think about mold that much. Here it's another fact of life, kind of like ticks and severe weather alerts. Spring house washing is an annual activity here. Not house cleaning, house washing. Fearless Mom owns a lot of power tools but a pressure washer is unfortunately not one of them. Soooo...grab a brush, a hose and some bleach and start scrubbing.
As you may know, mold is a living organism. Like all other living organisms in Rural America, they don't die without putting up a serious fight. It took three blasts of bleach and two passes with an extension brush to get this stuff off.
Whew! I eventually got the house back to it's original white color. I did this two walls at a time over the last two weeks in between the rain until the entire house looked like a little farmhouse again and less like the movie set for a horror flick. That should do it!
Until next spring.
Until next spring.
