We are in the midst of moving out of the house right now. In fact, the house should have been completely vacated by yesterday and the floors should be getting ripped out as I type this but we had a minor delay in scheduling of the trailer. I was completely okay with it as I would rather have several days of lead time to get the new living quarters set up. We could be living in it as long as three weeks depending on how fast we can turn the install around. But I know FM was anxious to have them hurry up and start. The sooner they deconstruct, the faster we can move on from this flooring nightmare.
The weather has improved, slightly. Which is we have the same high temperatures but with less overall humidity and more moving air. If it rains in the next three days like the weather report says we might actually see temps in the 80's. Even if we don't end up getting any storms, the stormy weather system around us brings big breezes. The lack of a breeze was the worst. Stagnant, humid air is like living in a stuffy bathroom all the time. Gross!
We did move ahead on several outdoor projects (see Projects page) and plan to use the cooler weather coming this weekend to surge ahead before the work starts. After the deconstruction is done we will be consumed with house clean-up and it will involve a lot of dust removal. Stay tuned.
I'll post pictures and progress updates on the front Diary page so you too can share the joy.
