Secondly, they are not the most airtight of living spaces. Not that they are meant to be I guess since camping in a trailer is about one civilized step up from living in a tent, or a cave. In fact, now that the weather has improved considerably, airflow is actually one of the advantages. When the air vents and windows are wide open the it feels just like you are standing outside.
But where goes air, so goes water and the trailer sprang several leaks unbeknown t o anyone during the aggressive rains that have plagued the Midwest this spring. Adding to the problem was the first two nights here the outside temperature had dropped to the mid-30's. Since I had chosen not to hook up the power right away (this required moving it with a large tractor) I spent two nights freezing my ass off in a wet dank trailer.
It only SOUNDS like fun!
