The proud and happy new owner of the trailer came to pick up his 30 foot monstrosity...uh, I mean baby. I was extremely concerned about the 'ability' of the driver to navigate it out of the yard without taking out sheds, trees or the garden. Strangely, the guy who purchased this was giddily planning all the camping trips they were going to take this summer but he doesn't even own a vehicle that can haul this and confessed to not knowing anything whatsoever about trailers. But he assured FM he had a friend with a truck to help him. Ooohh dear! This is sounding like it could go terribly wrong.
But to my amazement, his friend was able to back the long, long trailer out flawlessly through a fence with less than one foot clearance on either side and didn't even take out so much as a single Iris. It was very impressive actually.

It sure does make a huge difference having an experienced driver behind the wheel. A cute one too!
